Gimlet and 'Cub' Peters lead an expedition to vindicate a dead man's faith. Green cloth, colour frontis. 8 b/w illustrations. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few chips and nicks.

Inscription in ink (partially erased, with some surface paper damage) to front endpaper. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips; bottom 2-3" of spine are torn, with some loss. Grubby marks to rear panel.
