Burgundy pictorial cloth with gilt titles. 316 pages with booklist to rear. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers rubbed and slightly soiled on rear. Inscription in ink to front fly-leaf. Page browning to endpapers. Front joint cracked. Foxing throughout with some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Some hinges cracked.

Pictorial covers and spine. Front cover shows a cowboy having his tooth pulled out with a rope! Colour frontis + 3 other colour plates. First story is 'How Lee Perry Played the Juice' by Grant. Cover edges are bumped and worn, with some chipping. Score mark to top of front cover. Chipping along edges of spine. Some tears to paper on spine which appear to have been repaired with glue. Browning to pages internally. A few grubby finger marks. All colour plates are present. Couple of b/w illustrations have been coloured in.

Colour pictorial boards showing two boys hiking with dog. 4 colour plates, including frontis. First story is 'The Shanghaied Mountie' by Crawford Kaye. Chunky volume. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Chipping to cover edges and top and tail of spine. A few grubby marks to covers, with a few small scuffs. Front joint is cracked and becoming weak; webbing showing through. Some ink stamp marks to belongs to box and verso of frontis. Small tear to bottom of frontis. Light browning to page edges and margins. A few hinges are pulled. All plates are present.
