A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. A couple of indentations to rear cover and white marks to top corner area. Contents very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby to top and bottom edges.

Some dark browning to page edges. Wrapper is very browned to spine, with some fading and scuffing to other panels; creased with edge-tears; repairs with sticky tape to verso.

A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby marks to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and page margins. Wrapper is badly torn with chipping and some loss; messy tape repairs to spine and edges.

Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped and rubbed. White mark to rear panel and small red mark to top of front panel. Board edges a little rubbed. Writing to top of title page - possibly an inscription - some of the writing is faded. Several hinges are cracked. Heavy foxing to first couple and last couple of pages. Foxing to some other pages but many pages are clean.

Gilt and colour in vignettee are a little faded. Rear cover is marked and has a few scratches. Several hinges are cracked leaving the binding a little loose. Foxing and some fingering to contents. Plates are all clean.
