The fact the Selwyn was proved a dunce turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him. Oblong format. Blue cloth spine, white pictorial boards. Colour lithograph illustrations. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly bumped. Pale foxing to endpapers. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn, minimal loss to top and tail of spine, grubby and foxed.
