Front cover shows Rupert holding a paddle and waving while Algy looks on from a little boat. First story Rupert and the Red Egg. 118 pages. Spine missing, edges rubbed & worn. Boards a little dull. Front joint cracked. Rear joint starting to crack. Name in belongs to box. Heavy pencil erased from verso of title page and also belongs to box. Page 77 has loss to lower margin but this does not affect the text. Contents browned and a little grubby. A good reading copy.
