New Edition. A survey of its history and development in the mines of Cornwall and Devon from before 1800, with something of its use elsewhere in Britain and abroad. Mottled blue/grey cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and illustrations. Top edge grey. Vertical crease to spine else boards clean. Text block a little dusty. Neat inscription in ink to flyleaf. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, edge-rubbed and grubby, brown marks to rear panel.
