Raised bands, gilt titles to spine. 16 b/w plates, 4 coloured title pages, 50 beautiful colour plates, 2 double-page colour plates, 1 colour map, 1 double-page colour map plus b/w text illustrations. Marbled endpapers and edges. Both volumes have been professionally rebacked with original spines laid down. Some light foxing to plate margins. Overall a very handsome set.
