Modern half calf binding; marbled boards. 2nd edition. 4 engraved plates with folding map that has outline colour. A little fading and a few scuffs to spine. Some page browning/foxspots. Fold-out map has edge-tear (about 2-3").

Contains: 'Wales Illustrated, In A Series of Views, North and South (2 vols), plus Westmorland, Cumberland, Durham & Northumberland Illustrated and 'The People's Gallery of Engravings, 4 vols in one. Contains numerous steel engraved plates. 3 plates have been professionally hand-coloured. Wear to cover edges; a little bumping to corners. A few scuff marks to covers and top of spine. Foxing and browning to some pages.
