Almost very good condition.
Oblong format. Stiff card covers. A Tuck Book. A little text to bottom of each page, which is a colour illustration of trains/railways. Covers are edge rubbed and slightly creased. Light creases to page corner tips else contents clean.

First story is "The Last Post" by Gilson. 8 colour plates mounted on brown paper, b/w illustrations throughout. 208 pages. Spine and corners bumped, covers slightly grubby. Pictorial onlay to spine partially removed. Joints cracked. Endpapers browned. Foxing to contents.

Being the Story of the Greatest Naval Weapon From the First Ship-of-the-Line to Present-Day Leviathans. Green pictorial boards, gilt titles. 8 tissue guarded colour plates plus numerous b/w engravings, plans and photographs. Top edge gilt. Spine slightly cocked. Board corners lightly rubbed. Front pictorial board is nice and bright. Joints cracked but binding tight. Neat name in ink to front pastedown. Foxing throughout.
