Sammy is lonely in the Cornish fishing village where he lives with his aunt, uncle and cousin. Inscription in ink to front endpaper (ink very slightly smudged). A few light foxspots to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears but only minimal loss and is grubby to rear panel.

B/w illustrations. 72 pages. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Light page browning to half-title page else contents fine. Dustwrapper is just a little grubby on rear panel and slightly worn at top and tail of spine. A nice copy of the scarce first edition.
