A sequel to Viking's Dawn. Harald Sigurdson was weary of watching the sea and one day found himself embarked upon a quest for treasure with a band of Viking warriors. Green boards, gilt title to spine. 174 pages. B/w illustrations. Ex-lib (school) with removal of label to front pastedown and a bookplate to front free-endpaper. Library number in blue biro to verso of title-page and also in white to base of spine. Spine and corners bumped. Endpapers are partly browned. Price-cut wrapper has been covered with clear adhesive film, the wrapper is grubby/marked to rear panel.

Every major race from that significant first appearance of W.O.'s three-litre masterpiece at the Essex Motor Club's meeting in May 1921 to the Brooklands 500 mile race in September 1931 is covered.
