Written to complement the exhibition 'Turner and George IV in Edinburgh 1822'. Examines JMW Turner's proposal for a grand series of paintings of the Royal visit to Scotland. Oblong format. Beige cloth boards, gilt title to spine on brown title block. B/w illustrations. ISBN: 0852244320. Text block has minor foxing. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly browned across top front panel edge.
