Fourth edition, completely revised and enlarged. Green cloth boards with gilt titles and gilt vignette of Puck on Pegasus to front, bevelled edges. B/w illustrations. Frontispiece by George Cruikshank. 174 pages plus Opinions of the Press on the First Edition to rear. All edges gilt. Corners of boards lightly rubbed, boards lightly scuffed. Contemporary inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint just starting to crack. Hinges pulled but binding tight. Foxing to contents and a few grubby marks.

Spine browned, boards discoloured and marked. Corners worn. Front endpaper missing. Joints cracked but binding tight. All plates present. Some grubby marks to contents.
