Publishers full brown calf binding with gilt decorations/titles. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour and b/w mounted plates plus b/w illustrations. Very slight rubbing to cover edges. There is foxing to the contents (which affects the b/w plates but not the colour ones) but otherwise this is a lovely, bright copy. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Contains extra colour plate not in trade edition. SIGNED by the artist, this is copy no. 76. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Some foxing/browning/spotting to covers. Endpapers lightly browned. Foxing to contents and a couple of light marks to page margins. Two of the plates have corner creases.

Some slight page edge browning and a few fingermarks to margins else contents clean. Very scarce original blue dustwrapper (with green titles) is a bit grubby and edge worn.
