Almost very good condition.
Two volumes: 'Wanderings and Excursions in South Wales, including The Course of the Wye' and 'Wanderings and Excursions in North Wales'. With 48 and 51 plates respectively. Engravings by Radclyffe. Full burgundy leather bindings with gilt titles and decoration. Small bookplates to front pastedowns. Some scuffing to leather, with a little surface loss on board edges of the North Wales volume. Plate for Brecon Church (p.262, South Wales) is detached, and plate at p.260 is partially detached. Partial cracking to front joint of South Wales volume. All plates present.

Dark green leather spine and corners. Raised bands, gilt titles and decorations to spine. Marbled boards, edges and endpapers. 48 plates including frontis and title vignette. Book: book plate to front pastedown. Spine edges lightly rubbed. Corners bumped and rubbed. Frontis and title page heavily browned, a few scattered foxspots throughout but generally a bright clean copy.
