A collection of stories. Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles, illustration to front cover is of a sunset with a young boy flying on a bat over a pond with a frog sat on a toadstool. B/w illustrations. Floral endpapers. All edges gilt. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby and spine slightly darkened. Name and address in ink (neat) to verso of front free-endpaper. Contents are well browned with a few small, light marks to margins.

Almost very good condition.
A collection of stories. Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles, illustration to front cover is of a sunset with a young boy flying on a bat over a pond with a frog sat on a toadstool. B/w illustrations. Floral endpapers. All edges gilt. Corners rubbed, top & tail of spine worn. Covers lightly scuffed. Small bookplate to front pastedown. Small closed tear to lower edge of front joint and free front endpaper. Endpapers, title page and last page browned. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few marks to contents. Still a nice copy.
