Two volumes. Large format. Full brown leather binding, raised bands and gilt gilt decorations to spine. Gilt titles and decorations to front cover. All edges gilt. Numerous b/w steel engravings. A Delineation by Pen and Pencil of the Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Forests, Water-Falls, Shores, Canyons, Valleys, Cities and Other Picturesque Features of our Country. 12.5 x 10 inches. Book: all plates present. Damage to first two pages of Volume I, with slight loss. Dampstaining to corners of first 40 pages of Volume II else contents very good. Hinge of front board of Volume II slightly cracked. Edges a little worn.

Top edge gilt. Other page edges uncut. 190 pages. 8.5 x 6". Spine faded and bumped to head and tail. Corners a little bumped. Inscription in ink to front flyleaf. Contents lightly foxed but otherwise clean. A delightful copy!
