Large format. Light brown cloth spine. Paper boards with pictorial onlay to front cover. Colour plates. Spine a little faded. Boards scuffed. Corners bumped and worn. Front joint cracked. Front endpaper split next to spine for 6.5". Endpapers browned.

Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Blue cloth spine. Red pictorial boards. Charming colour illustrations. Top and tail of spine faded, corners worn. Covers bright and clean. Name in ink to front endpaper. One page detached and another part detached. Some light grubby marks to contents and a couple of margin tears. Pictorial wrapper is torn with loss mainly to spine and corners and a large closed tear to rear. Overall a bright copy of the first edition, sounds much worse than it looks!
