Brown boards with pictorial onlay to front cover. Pictorial endpapers and colour illustrations. Spine bumped with 0.75" split to top front edge, nick towards base of spine. Small piece of surface paper damage to onlay. One hinge cracked. Endpapers browned. Just a few small marks to contents. Browning to some pages alongside stitching.

Very good condition.
Publishers full brown calf binding with gilt decorations/titles. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Colour and b/w mounted plates plus b/w illustrations. Very slight rubbing to cover edges. There is foxing to the contents (which affects the b/w plates but not the colour ones) but otherwise this is a lovely, bright copy. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Spine split for 3.5" along front edge. Top part of spine looks to have been glued into place. Spine darkened with small splits at either end and middle of rear edge. Corners bumped and worn. Covers grubby and marked. Nick to onlay. All plates are present but frontis is detached. Top 2" of front joint broken. Pen writing to publisher's page. Foxing and marks to contents throughout.

Beige cloth covers with dark blue titles and vignette of ship to front cover. Illustrated endpapers. B/w illustrations. 99 pages. Spine slightly bumped with line of fading at top and bottom of spine. Grubby mark to front endpaper. Name in ink to half-title page. Small brown marks to lower margins of last few pages. Spine of dustwrapper is worn and torn with slight loss at top and bottom. Also edge chipped at folds and slightly grubby.

Lucius's adventures start when he tries to rescue his slaves. Very pale green boards with red titles to spine.. B/w illustrations. 189 pages. A little bumping to spine. Dark stain to top edge of text block and top edge of front cover, small spot to top edge of rear cover. Lighter stains to front cover. Stain also affects top edges of first 35 pages and endpapers, rest of contents very good. Small bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is also affected by stain, mainly front panel, flap and verso. Edge worn, torn and creased with clear tape repairs on verso.

They came anyway and one of their gifts was the quality of being too clever which led to the prince being unpopular.Orange cloth boards with blue title to spine and vignette to front board. Pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 108 pages. Spine and corners are bumped and rubbed. Browning to board edges. Couple of marks to rear board. Inscription in ink to front flyleaf. Foxing mainly to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased. Loss to top and bottom of spine with a few closed tears. Some sellotape to verso of wrapper to repair some of the tears.
