Almost very good condition.
Large format. Pictorial boards, front shows children in imaginary march. Red cloth spine. Colour frontis, many b/w illustrations. First short story is "A Four-Footed Hero". Some light wear to covers. Prize plate to front pastedown has been partially removed. Foxing and fingering throughout. There is one small closed tear to margin of frontis.

Blue cloth with gilt title to front cover, with black picture. B/w plates. Original spine is missing, with new cloth spine (no title to it) has been put on. Some fraying to original cloth. Grubby marks and wear to covers. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis, which has been repaired with glue. Some grubby marks and browning internally. Still a good reading copy.

Almost very good condition.
Comus is the pseudonym of R.M. Ballantyne. Red embossed cloth with gilt title and vignette to front. Eight colour plates. Contains music accompanied by the verse and a short story. Spine and corners worn. Damp stain to lower edge of front cover (4.5 x 1") affects the lower edges of the front endpapers and first 12 pages (including 3 plates - margins only, pictures not affected). Previous owner's name and address in ink to front endpaper. Some light foxing and fingering, a small closed tear and light creasing to front endpaper. Not as bad as it sounds, still a nice copy.
