Beige boards, brown title to spine and vignette to front. B/w illustrations. Browning and foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small closed tears and chips; minimal loss.
Red cloth, dark blue titles. 8 tipped-in colour plates. A book of verse first seen in various sporting publications and Punch. Staining to top & tail of spine else boards clean and bright. Inscription in pencil to front endpaper. One mount partly detached. Minor crease to one plate. A few scattered foxposts. Small hole to front edge of spine (pin hole). Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby and is edge-worn with a few tears and some loss.
