Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The very first Famous Five book in which the Five encounter a ruined castle, a wreck and buried treasure. Red boards. 191 pages. Blue pictorial endpapers showing the island. B/w illustrations.
Spine slightly bumped. Foxing to textblock and some page margins. Name, address and date in blue biro to half title-page. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn and creased with tears and a section of loss to lower edge of rear panel.
