Almost very good condition. Brown limp suede covers with gilt title to front and blind decorations. A new translation by V.S. Vernon Jones, with an introduction by G.K. Chesterton. 13 guarded colour plates, including frontis, plus b/w illustrations.
Wear and spotting to covers; some fading. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Heavy foxing, especially to prelims, endpapers, outer page edges and margins, with other foxing throughout. All plates present.
