A collection of well-know English fairy-tales and folk-tales retold by James Reeves. Pink cloth, gilt title to spine on mauve title block. Decorated endpapers. Colour illustrations and b/w text illustrations throughout. 234 pages. Third impression. Light mottling to boards. Foxing to text block with some bleeding to edge of pages. Name & date in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few minor foxspots to endpapers and prelims. Else contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper has a few foxspots and is a little grubby, lightly worn to top & tail of spine. Musty odour present.

Very small format (6.25 x 7.5cm). Green pictorial cloth with gilt titles. 130 pages, all edges gilt. B/w illustrations. Covers are edge rubbed. Inscription in ink to Xmas sticker which is stuck to front pastedown. Front free-endpaper removed. Tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. Hinges cracked/pulled but binding still tight.

All plates present. Bottom corner of page 144 has small piece torn off.
