Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
2nd Edition. Foreword by Arthur Quiller-Couch. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Green map to endpapers. Colour frontis. B/w photos. viii and 120 pages including index. Spine lightly faded and mottled, shelf wear to tail. Text block and endpapers browned. Small name in ink to front endpaper, gift inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few scattered foxspots present. Dustwrapper design is by Philip Gough. Dustwrapper is browned, edge-worn and a little grubby.

Arthur Quiller-Couch
Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (; 21 November 1863 – 12 May 1944) was a Cornish writer who published using the pseudonym Q. Although a prolific novelist, he is remembered mainly for the monumental publication The Oxford Book Of English Verse 1250–1900 (later extended to 1918) and for his literary criticism.
