Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The essence of the English countryside captured in text and superb wood-engravings and sepia plates. 7 etchings by BB, 5 drawings by G.D.Armour and chapter tail-pieces by BB. 237 pages. Green cloth, yellow title to spine.

Spine bumped. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to endpapers. Dustwrapper is worn and marked with damp stains to spine and loss to spine and corners.
