Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red cloth, black title to spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations.
Spine bumped, wear to ends and rear edge, a little darkened with fading to top and bottom edge. Darkening to some outside edges of covers and spine edge of rear cover. Light browning and foxing to endpapers. A couple of grubby marks to title page, dark mark to margin of page 170, ink name and address stamp to page 75, mostly in margin but does affect a couple of words, small pen mark to margin of page 53 plus a few other fainter fingermarks to contents. Foxing to verso of frontis. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with a little loss from ends of spine and folds. 2.5" split to rear edge of spine. Strips of paper stuck to ends of spine on verso. Browning and foxing to spine, rear panel, folds and verso. Colours on front panel bright. Original price on front flap crossed out, new price above, all printed.
