Few small knocks along cover edges. Name and address in ink to front endpaper. Foxing; heaviest to prelims and outer page edges, but some also throughout book.

A school story for girls. Yellow cloth with blue lettering. 8 b/w drawings. 217 pages. Fading and foxing to spine. Mottling/foxing to rest of covers. Bumping to corners. Inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Page edge browning; some light foxing. Contents are still very good. Wrapper has bottom 2-3" of rear panel and base of spine torn off and MISSING; other corners of loss; front panel is mostly complete.

Contained in original posting box which is in good condition.

Five little card wrap books contained in box shaped to look like a sweetshop with opening door at front. The books are generally very good with some foxing and light page browning. The front cover of book 1 has indentations to front cover (from heavy pencil marks?) and a small stain to top edge of rear cover. The box is worn, grubby and foxed on the inside with a tape reinforcement to the shop of the shaped section of the shop (on the verso).
