Good condition. 40 beautiful chromolithographs depicting a selection of the dolls owned by Queen Victoria. Large format. Black cloth spine, red boards with gilt title block and large vignette to front cover. Unpaginated. All edges yellow. Brown and gold decorated endpapers.
Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers grubby and scuffed/scratched. Front joint and some hinges cracked. First gathering pulled so feels loose. Ink inscription to half-title page. Some foxing and a few marks to contents but many pages are clean. Browning to top of two pages where something has been kept in book, one is illustration page but browning does not reach illustration. All chromolithographs present.
