Four sections entitled "Pictures for Pets with rambling rhymes", "Illustrated Proverbs for the Nursery", "The Queen and Princesses of Dolly Land" and "New Scenes of Monkey Life". Each section has four rhymes and four vibrant oil-colour plates. Green decorated cloth with large pictorial onlay to front. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed, some small indentations to lower cover edges. Gilt to spine has been rubbed away. Endpapers have been replaced. Margins of title-page are worn. Foxing and some fingering throughout. A nice copy of a scarce book.
White pictorial cloth. 12 mounted colour plates (with tissue-guards) plus b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Bump/dent to top edge of rear cover. White cloth slightly grubby, spine browned. Some light foxing to prelims. Tobacco smell to contents.
Victoria Josephine is a rather spoiled doll who is rejected and yet finds her way back to a loving home in a rather surprising way. Orange cloth, black titles and vignette to front cover. Striking black silhouette illustrations throughout and on orange endpapers. 8.25 x 6.25". Unpaginated. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Endpapers lightly browned. Light foxing to textblock. Some light marks to page margins.
