Four sections entitled "Pictures for Pets with rambling rhymes", "Illustrated Proverbs for the Nursery", "The Queen and Princesses of Dolly Land" and "New Scenes of Monkey Life". Each section has four rhymes and four vibrant oil-colour plates. Green decorated cloth with large pictorial onlay to front. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed, some small indentations to lower cover edges. Gilt to spine has been rubbed away. Endpapers have been replaced. Margins of title-page are worn. Foxing and some fingering throughout. A nice copy of a scarce book.
