Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Published for Boots The Chemist. Large format. Red cloth covers, gilt titles. 16 colour tipped-in plates. Many b/w illustrations. 319 pages. 10 x 7.5".
Spine and corners bumped. Faded patch to base of spine (where there is a piece of the dustwrapper missing). A few tiny dents to cover edges. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing, especially to prelims and textblock. Some of the b/w text illustrations has been neatly coloured. Dustwrapper has a piece missing to base of spine and a smaller piece missing above. Rear panel and spine of wrapper are slightly faded.
