Very good condition. Album (edition de luxe) with 800 photographic and woodcut illustrations comprising landscapes, alpine views, architectural pictures, national types and costumes. Translated from the German by John C. Milligan. Large format. Red cloth boards, gilt titles. Decorative floral endpapers. Top edge gilt. 331 pages plus additional illustrations to rear.

Spine faded, boards unevenly faded. Light stain to spine. A few light scratch marks to rear board and a few indentations to board. Two pinholes to title page which have pierced the prelims else contents very nice.
