Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Joan is a little girl who believes in fairies and when the gardener tells her that the best place to find them is among the wild flowers, she goes in search of them. Tinkler the elf acts as guide, and Joan makes some wonderful discoveries. Cream cloth, red titles and fairy vignette to front cover. Green pictorial endpapers. Full-page colour illustrations of flower fairies and b/w text illustrations.
Bumping to spine and corners. Tape residue marks to pastedowns. Foxing to outer page edges. Browning lines across a few pages. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips; some tape repairs and residue; a few grubby marks.
