Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper. A medley of prose & verse for boys and girls. Contributors include Laurence Housman, Compton Mackenzie, Hugh Chesterman etc. One story illustrated in colour, packed with b/w illustrations. Cream cloth with blue titles and decorations on covers.
Spine and corners bumped. Endpapers lightly browned. Inscription in ink to verso of half-title. Grubby fingermarks to page margins. Dustwrapper is worn, torn and grubby with old tape marks to edges of panels and front flap almost detached.
