Slightly better than very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Green cloth, gilt titles on spine and front cover. This is the only full-length William book (the others being made up of short stories) and was based on Val Guest's screenplay for the 1947 film of the same name. 264 pages.
Spine and corners a little bumped. Name and address in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss to base of spine, spine is sunned and has no. 48 in circle to base. Slightly grubby to edges of rear panel and rear flap.
