Observers book No. 2. Small format. Green boards with dark green titles. Describing 200 british species with 220 illustrations 100 of which are in full colour. Printer's code is 614.659. Damp staining to edges of wrapper (front and rear and also affecting inside flaps) and also to page edges throughout.

Wayside and Woodland series. Blue cloth boards, black titles and vignette to front board lower corner. Colour plates. Boards a little spotted and browned. Base of spine shelf-worn. Name & address in ink and bookplate to front endpaper. Foxing mainly to prelims and text block. Contents are generally clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is browned, edge-worn with a few small chips, a bit grubby.
