Spine browned, boards damp stained and browned. Text block lightly browned. Gift inscription in ink to front endpaper. Half-title page browned. Lower corner tip removed from page 33/34. One or two minor marks to contents. A working copy.

Spine slightly bumped with slight fading to top and tail. Boards are faded. Endpapers lightly browned and front free-endpaper has light corner crease. A couple of small margin marks else contents clean. Scarce dustwrapper is slightly edge chipped with very slight loss, tape repairs on verso.

American Edition with New York address to title-page. Blue paper boards with green titles and oval onlay to front cover. The text on pg15 still carries the misprint of "muffatees". Spine very slightly bumped and browned. A couple of hinges are slightly pulled. Name and date in ink to half title-page. Contained in a very scarce, original glassine wrapper which is a little frayed at edges with a few small chips and slight loss. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Some light fingering to page margins but generally contents clean. A nice copy of the deluxe edition.

This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Some colouring (doodles to the rear of one plate and one b/w illustrations lightly coloured, there may be more that we have missed?). One page is part detached but is still present and hanging on by a 'thread'. There is foxing. Binders sticker to rear pastedown (H. Walker of Hyson Green).
