Good condition.
De Luxe edition limited to 300 numbered copies and signed by the illustrator. White cloth, blue borders and orange tree design with gilt titles. 75 tissue-guarded plates. Top edge gilt. SIGNED by the artist (no dedication) and numbered 128 (of 300). Spine browned, boards marked and grubby. Top & tail of spine worn and fraying. Front hinge pulled with residue surface paper from front endpaper stuck to half-title page. Rear hinge pulled wide, free rear endpaper is stuck to rear pastedown (possibly a binding error). Some inner hinges pulled else the binding is tight. Some foxing present especially to tissue-guards but not the plates themselves. Small damp stain to margins and lower corner of last few pages and plates.

Spine is bumped and browned. Marks to covers. Corners are bumped. Some foxing throughout. Small patch of surface paper damage to front endpaper. Plate opposite page 178 the tissue-guard is chipped.
