Top & tail of spine and rear lower board edge lightly bumped. Text block lightly browned. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby.

Front hinge between title page and frontis is split at top & tail. Pencil writing and erasure to front pastgedown, inscription in ink to free front endpaper. Endpapers are browned and grubby. Text block browned. Initials to title page. Foxing and some grubby marks throughout. Rear hinge split.
