Spine darkened. Covers just a little grubby. Prize plate to front pastedown. Endpapers partly browned. Front joint cracked. Some light foxing else contents clean.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A lively, stirring tale of pirates on the Spanish Main, thrilling but never frightening, told by a sailor with a glorious sense of humour. Red cloth, dark blue titles and vignette to front. Colour and b/w illustrations. 48 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Light page browning to half-title and last text page. Some light fingering else contents clean. White pictorial wrapper is grubby and edge worn, chipped to spine with loss, extensive tape repairs on verso.
