Red cloth covers with black title to spine and front cover. B/w illustrations. 256 pages. Front cover is bowed. Uneven fading to covers, with black marks to cover edges. Foxing to pages. Wrapper is torn and chipped with 2-3" loss to top of spine and 1" loss to base; other smaller areas of loss to corners and along edges.

Foxing to page edges/margins. Large vertical tear to page 238 repaired with tape. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn, foxed to spine with chipping at top and tail.

Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small edge-tears and chips; minimal loss; some tears repaired to verso with small amounts of tape.
