Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Volume I: The Fight at Odds. Volume II: The fight Avails. Volume III: The Fight is Won. Published between 1953 & 1954. Blue cloth boards, navy title block with gilt title to spine. Some fold out maps. B/w photos. Volume I is third impression 1954, Volume II & III are first editions 1954.Volume I has small white mark to front board, small patch of fading from sunlight to spine in same place there is a hole to spine of dustwrapper. Light browning and foxing to text blocks and endpapers. Contents are generally clean. Binding is tight. Blue dustwrappers are a little edge-worn with a few small closed tears, spines are faded and worn, a little browned.

The author was commissioned as the official painter for the US Navy. Blue cloth boards, blue titles and vignette to front. 17 b/w drawings. xii and 48 pages. Boards a little grubby, lightly rubbed at edges, corners of boards bumped, white marks to top of rear board. Endpapers and text block browned, endpapers also grubby. Hinges pulled and a few minor margin marks present.
