6 beautiful colour plates. Pictorial boards, blue cloth spine. Large format. Front cover shows two children, one asleep by a sundial. Covers are edge worn and scuffed. Rear cover is grubby. Spine is bumped and rubbed at top and tail. Inscription in ink to half title-page. Beauty and the Beast plate has ragged edges and a tape repair on verso. There is colouring to the small b/w illustration on the title-page. Foxing, fingering and some margin tears to contents.

Hodder & Stoughton's Colour Books series. Grey cloth, red titles and vignettes. 12 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Spine browned and foxed. Damp/splash marks and a few small pen marks to front cover (see picture). Name plate to front pastedown and inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Creases to last few pages. Light foxing. Plates clean.

Covers are very worn and badly dampstained. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Name in ink to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to half title-page. Endpapers lightly browned. Front joint cracked between endpaper and half-title, showing webbing beneath. Some light fingering but contents generally clean.

12 enchanting tipped-in colour plates. Green cloth, gilt titles and decorations. 240 pages. Large format. Published for Boots the Chemist. Spine bumped and worn with small hole towards top. Minimal bumping and wear to corners. Small faint marks to covers in places (damp?). Ink inscription to front endpaper. One hinge strating to crack. A few fingermarks/marks to contents but most pages are clean. Small light stain to text block. A little foxing. All plates present. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a little loss from ends of spine and folds. A couple of larger tears to bottom of front panel. Panels and spine darkened with a few small marks.

Board edges a little darkened. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint and some hinges cracked. One plate is MISSING. Other plates present and in very good condition. Tissue guard for frontis is creased and has tape to top 42, partially detached at bottom. Browning to endpapers. Foxing mainly to page margins and some margin marks. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with areas of loss to top and bottom of spine and front fold and bottom of rear panel. Some creasing to front panel and spine. Wrapper is grubby.

Spine and corners bumped and rubbed, front edge of spine has been 'touched up' with green felt-tip(?) pen. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and some light fingering else contents clean. Lower corner of half-title torn off and there is a large tear to page 51/2 which has been tape repaired (old tape has left brown mark), affecting page margin only. One tissue-guard is missing but all plates are present and in fine condition.
