A few minor closed tears to page margins (neatly repaired). A couple of grubby marks to page margins. Some light water-colour to first illustration.

Spine rubbed with small split at top. Boards slightly spotted. Corners bumped and worn. Blank pages browned, dampstain to last blank page. Contents very clean and bright. Overall a superb copy of this antiquarian history.

Spine has been professionally rebacked retaining the original spine piece (which is worn). A few light fingermarks and tiny foxspots else contents clean. A very nice copy of a handsome and very scarce book.
