Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Pale grey boards, green title to spine. Colour frontis. Bombarded by jet fighters, grounded by a sand-storm, involved in a desert gun battle - another exciting Biggles adventure. 170 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Prize plate to front free-endpaper. Heavy foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is well worn at edges with minimal loss to spine and corners.

A 'King of the Commandos' Adventure. A desperate treasure hunt in siamese jungle, which began harmlessly enough as a fishing holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. Gimlet and 'Cub' Peters lead an expedition to vindicate a dead man's faith. Green cloth, colour frontis. 8 b/w illustrations. Light bumping to top of spine (minor). A few minor foxspots mainly to text block. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed and worn with a few small chips and tears.

The Brown children go to stay with their Aunt Adelaide in London and Nurse Matilda has to be called in again. Small format. Blue boards with gilt titles and vignettes to covers. B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped. Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper has clear adhesive film stuck to it causing the colour to 'bleed' a little. Spine is faded. End of silk ribbon is foxed and slightly frayed.
