This book deals with monks and friars in all their activities from 1216 to about 1340. Navy blue cloth boards with gilt title and vignette to front. xvi and 348 pages including index. Reprint. Boards a little grubby and mottled. Edge of boarfds lightly rubbede. Corners bumped. Text block browned. A few minor foxspots. Price-cut yellow dustwrapper is browned, heavily so to spine, slight loss to top & tail of spine, a few marks. Strong musty odour present but contents otherwise clean.
