Red pictorial cloth with gilt title labels. B/w illustrations throughout. 528 pages plus index to Vol 1. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers a bit grubby and marked. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to textblock, some light fingermarks to page margins and some corner tips creased.
Leather spines and corners; raised bands to spines, gilt titles and decorations. Marbled boards. This is a two volume set, but contains 4 volumes in total. Second volume is first edition 1862. Wear and scuffing to leather and marbled covers; chipping to some edges. Bookplate to front pastedown of first volume. Front joints are a bit cracked. Some foxing and browning. Contents are still generally very good.
Monographs on Statistics and Applied Probability 51. Dark green glazed boards. ISBN: 0412465205. Boards scuffed, corners lightly rubbed. A few tick marks in red biro to margins of reference pages.
