Almost very good condition.
Tales and Dialogues for the Nursery. Smaller format. Leather spine and corners, marbled boards. Third edition. 2 volumes in one - 1843 + 1840. Engraved plates. Scuffing and wear to covers, some marks. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and browning throughout, a few 'splash' marks to pages. Corner tips to a couple of pages appear to have been repaired.

Embossed red cloth with gilt titles to front and spine. 4 colour plates (with tissue guards) to include title-page. Half title-page states "There is No Such Thing as a Trifle". 63 pages. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Darkening to covers. Foxing to textblock. Grubby fingermarks to page margins thoughout. Musty smell to contents (tobacco?).
