Small oblong format. Pictorial boards with brown spine. Pretty colour and sepia illustrations throughout. A sobering tale of what happens when three children take three baby birds from their nest. Covers are edge worn and grubby. Backstrip is missing. Name plate to front pastedown. Erased pencil marks to front pastedown. Foxing to endpapers, a couple of foxspots to page margins. Front joint is cracked and a little weak but still holding.
