Scuffing along a couple of cover edges. Small white name and address label to front endpaper. Some foxing. Wrapper is grubby with edge-creasing and small nicks; a little damp staining along bottom edge.

Cape Clear Island, the most southerly point of Ireland, apart from the nearby Fastnet Rock, has been the site of a bird obsservatory since 1959. This account of the island, it flora and fauna, its inhabitants and history is weighted in favour of the birds since the island offers much of exceptional ornithological interest. Mottled blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w sketches. 207 pages. ISBN: 085661002X. A fine copy in a blue wrapper which is rubbed at edges and corners, a little scuffed and has a small closed tear to top of front edge of spine.
